What I love about MAD is the friendships I have made through dance and the way the teams support each other.

I like how Megan's dances flow and that you can add your own spin to the dance moves. ❤️

MAD is my second family.

Joining MAD was the best decision! The teachers are great and I love the different dance styles and the excitement of competitions. I've gained so much confidence and made so many friends, it really feels like a second family. ❤️

MAD has given a group of ladies of all ages the chance to be empowered to dance, compete and created lifelong friendships.

What I lone about MAD is it's made a dream come true in learning to dance as an older woman 😝 & the friendships I've made which will last a lifetime.

MAD is my second family. I love being part of the amazing community. I've been part of it for 8 years.

No matter what challenges are going on at home I close the door and it's me time, time to switch off and be with supporting people.

It helps massively with confidence and self-esteem. Even when you're at rock bottom, all ages and abilities (my daughter, my son and myself) MAD is alwaysthere to help see the light again.

I've had some incredible experiences, dancing as part of a team at Blackpool is just one of them.

Megan's door is always open for good or bad, can always try and help support where she can, even if it's not about dance.

Walking through the doors for the first time,

Feeling nervous but I know I'll be fine,

Seeing everyone move their bodies freely,

No one judging really.

Music fills the room, it starts to grow,

Heartbeat matching every flow,

Feet unsure but finding ground,

Confidence rising with every sound.

Smiles shared without a word,

In this space, we are all heard,

Different stories, different ways,

Coming together in counted phrase.

Mistakes don't matter, we just try,

Lift each other, reach up high,

MAD's not just a place to be,

It's where I learn to just be me.

Going to MAD to dance is something I will never forget because being around such lovely and amazing people means the world to me. Everyone there has a sweet personality and are a great dancer so I love being with them. As well as the dances, Megan is a great teacher who is so kind and funny. Everything she choreographs is so fun and really enjoyable. On a Tuesday I don't have a dance lesson so it makes it (by far) the most boring day of the week for me.   💃❤️

I love MAD because you can make new friendships within different ages. When I dance I feel that I can express my emotions within the dance and there will be no judgement by others. MAD excels because we learn new tricks together, we win together and in MAD you will always have a chance to shine. You can also achieve so many goals and you cherish the moments with people that feel like family.

MAD to me means I can express myself and be creative through dance in many different ways. Dance has always been a hobby of mine and now I feel I have progressed in many ways. What I love about MAD is how kind the teachers are I really feel like they have helped me to belong.
